David West gives a talk about game to Sway W.I. 17th May 2011 Sway Butchery classes have started with our 5 students attending the pig course. A great evening was had by everyone and our set finish time of 9.30pm over ran to nearly 11pm with everone enjoying the after class nibbles and chat with a glass of wine. For more details on our courses click on the following link. Butchery courses March 2011 Our new scotch eggs are proving to be a great success. All handmade using our award winning sausage meat and local free range eggs they make the perfect lunchtime snack. 13th January 2011 St Lukes Primary school visited Sway Butchers today to see how we make sausages. The children all completed an animal treasure hunt in the shop, before being taken through to the 'sausage room', to be shown how we mince out our meat and add our specialist seasonings, before filling the sausage skins to produce our award winning sausages. Each child left with a sample of our award winning farmhouse chipolatas and a colouring sheet.
